Appalachian held out in a close one Saturday afternoon, knocking off Furman 77-75 in the pair’s second meeting of the season.
The Mountaineers reached victory with help from Donald Sims and Isaac Butts, who had 20 and 16 points each, respectively.

The halftime buzzer has sounded in Boone and the Mountaineers lead the Paladins by 11, 37-26.
Appalachian has faired well in the absence of Ryann Abraham and Eduardo Bermudez.
The Mountaineers have handled the ball well for the most part and only produced 7  turnovers in the first half. Additionally, ASU has 50 percent from the field.

It’s almost time for tipoff at the Holmes Convocation Center.
Appalachian will be seeking to rebound after Thursday evening’s loss against Wofford College with a victory over Furman.
In addition to the game today, the biggest news has been the indefinite suspension of guards Eduardo Bermudez and Ryann Abraham for conduct detrimental to the team.

The final horn has been blown, and despite a strong second half rally, the Appalachian State University men’s basketball team fell to Wofford College tonight, 74-68.
Wofford expanded on their first half lead to start the second, going up by as much as 16.

It’s halftime in Boone, and Wofford College leads Appalachian State University 36-28.
The Mountaineers came out fast in front of the home crowd, opening with a 7-0 run. Appalachian would remian in control of the game until Wofford seized an 18-17 lead midway through the half.

Appalachian won for the first time since Jan. 8 Saturday evening, defeating Western Carolina 76-70 with a surge of scoring in the second half.
